Our History

History Heroes was originally created by history teacher, Harry Hastings, and Ian Curtis. Harry has been referred to as, “The Jamie Oliver of History”. In September 2013, Harry became a head teacher (we look forward to him soon being described as ‘The Jamie Oliver of Headteachers’) and handed over History Heroes to Alex Ehrmann.

Harry’s original History Heroes’ card games were ‘British Monarchs’; ‘Explorers’ and ‘Athletes’, all illustrated by cartoonist and illustrator, Bill Stott.

Harry Hastings’ Explorers and Athletes are no longer available but you can still buy the original Harry Hastings’ ‘How well do you know your Monarchs’ here:
