History Heroes’ new game: WOMEN in history on International Women’s Day!
8th March 2017

On International Women’s Day, Wednesday 8th March 2017, History Heroes releases the latest in its award-winning series of educational and entertaining card games.
Following much research and debate, History Heroes’ owner, Alexandra Ehrmann, is ready to unveil 40 of the women that she and her team of expert researchers believe have had the most global impact throughout history.

From Cleopatra to Margaret Thatcher, Jane Austen to Maya Angelou and Mother Teresa to Madonna, the game brings amazing and influential women together in a colourful hand sized pack. The results may surprise you and the facts contained on each beautifully illustrated card will certainly bring a deeper understanding of why each woman has been so important.
History Heroes could only have ever launched WOMEN in history on 8th March: on International Women’s Day and in Women’s History Month. Both events offer a fantastic opportunity for all of us to consider and appreciate some of the amazing women and their achievements throughout history. We’re delighted to be partnering up with schools on the 8th March to highlight the role women have played in events that have shaped all our lives. History Heroes’ WOMEN in history game will be used as the basis for elections and hot air balloon debates in several schools on International Women’s Day. We’re fascinated to discover which women come out ‘on top’ in all the contests – we’ll keep you posted!

History Heroes: WOMEN in history game is the latest release in a series that also features SCIENTISTS, EXPLORERS, SPORT, CHILDREN in history, INVENTORS and WORLD WAR ONE.
